REAL RESULTS
Transformations that speak for themselves.
See the difference that specialist skin of colour expertise makes. These are our real clients, real results.
Skin of Colour Specialists
We don't treat skin of colour as a afterthought. It's our entire focus. Every product, protocol, and technique is selected specifically for melanin-rich skin.
Training the industry
We run the skin of Colour Aesthetics Training Academy, educating practitioners across the UK. If we train others, imagine the care you'll receive directly.
Safety-First Approach
Our barrier-first protocols minimise the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. We start conservative and earn intensity - your safety os non-negotiable.
You'll Actually Be Understood
No more explaining your concerns to someone who doesn't get it. We understand the specific challenges of skin of colour because it's all we do.
MEET KYOMI
Built on Expertise,
Driven by Purpose
After 15 years working with two of the UK's leading non-surgical and cosmetic surgery clinics, Kyomi saw a critical gap that needed filling — specialist aesthetic care for skin of colour.
Too many clients were being turned away or treated with a one-size-fits-all approach.
The KS Clinic was founded to change that. Every treatment, every protocol, every product is selected with the unique needs of melanin-rich skin in mind.
In 2022, Kyomi launched the Skin of Colour Aesthetics Training Academy - sharing this specialist knowledge with practitioners across the UK so more people can access the expert care they deserve.
COMMON QUESTIONS
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
What makes The KS Clinic different from other aesthetic clinics?
We specialise exclusively in skin of colour. While most clinics treat it as an afterthought, it's our entire focus.
Our founder has 15+ years of experience, we've won six industry awards, and we train other practitioners through our Skin of Colour Aesthetics Training Academy.
Is laser hair removal safe for darker skin tones?
Absolutely. We use advanced laser technology specifically calibrated for Fitzpatrick IV-VI skin types.
Our protocols are designed to deliver effective results while protecting your skin from hyperpigmentation or burns — risks that are higher when practitioners lack specialist knowledge.
How long do treatment results last?
It depends on the treatment. Laser hair removal typically requires 6-8 sessions for optimal permanent reduction. Dermal fillers last 6-18 months depending on the product and area. Skin rejuvenation results build progressively over a treatment series. We'll create a personalised plan during your consultation.
What happens at my first consultation?
It's a relaxed, thorough conversation about your goals. We'll assess your skin using our structured framework, explain which treatments suit you best, discuss realistic timelines and outcomes, and answer
every question. There's zero pressure — our goal is for you to feel informed and confident.
Do you offer practitioner training?
Yes. Our Skin of Colour Aesthetics Training Academy (established 2022) offers masterclasses for aesthetic practitioners. Our flagship course covers safe assessment, treatment planning, and aftercare for Fitzpatrick IV-VI skin. Visit our academy page or get in touch for upcoming cohort dates.
